Elementary School Principal W.L. Morse School Effective July 1, 2010
    The successful candidate will possess:

  • a comprehensive vision of an effective elementary education program for a diverse population
  • a demonstrated capacity for consensus-driven decision making through  collaboration with staff and parents
  • the ability to utilize data to inform instruction and improve student achievement
  • experience with supervision and evaluation of programs and staff to build capacity and ensure continuous growth and improvement
  • a successful record of achievement as an elementary school administrator

Administrative Certification Required      Salary will be regionally competitive

   Assistant Principal Sleepy Hollow Middle School  Effective July 1, 2010
  
 The successful candidate will:
                    
·         have a proven record of achievement as a middle school teacher and teacher leader
                    
·         have knowledge of the NYS standards, performance indicators and experience using data
                           analysis for school improvement
                    
·         have experience with best practices in teaching and learning to ensure success for all students 
                    
·         have experience in differentiated instruction and technology integration
                    
·         possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with staff and parents
                    
·         demonstrate outstanding oral and written communication skills

 Administrative Certification Required   All salaries will be regionally competitive

    Guidance Department Chairperson
    Responsible for the leadership and management of Middle and High School Guidance programs with a reduced
    high school caseload.

    The Successful candidate will possess:

  • a proven record of working successfully with college admissions officers
  • experience as a high school guidance counselor and leader of guidance programs
  • a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of middle level adolescents and their academic and affective needs

School Counselor Certification Required Administrative Certification Preferred

Teaching Assistant  John Paulding School    6.25 hours per day

Teaching Assistant Sleepy Hollow High School (Special Education) 7.25 hours per day

Physics Teacher  Sleepy Hollow High School Leave Replacement 2010 – 2011  Effective: September 1, 2010 – June 30, 2011 Appropriate Certification Required
