You gotta have heart.  That is what the 7th Grade Boys’ Basketball team showed on Monday February 5th in a 62-60 win at the buzzer against a tough (6-3) Blind Brook team. The horsemen were playing without their leading point scorer and rebounder Glen Robinson, as well as key backups in Austin Siegal and Alvis Gonzalez. Add on the fact that point guard Freddy Bertrand was playing practically on one leg. Both L.J. Garrant and Harley Falasca suffered injuries on Monday and it looked like it would be a rough night for the horsemen. However, with great teamwork, defense and determination, the boys rallied late in the 4th quarter. Freddy Bertrand put in a gutsy effort with 23 points and great defense. Ronny Rodriguez, playing out of position, scored 15 points.  The big star of the game was Harley Falasca who with 3 seconds left on the clock hit a 15 footer to give the horsemen the lead for good. Great team rebounding was one of the big keys to the game. Playing undersized did not stop the horsemen from attacking the boards. Nick Vallo and L.J.
