Cooperative Learning

Cooperative learning allows children to work in small or large groups toward a clear common goal set by the facilitator. While working in cooperative groups, students are actively engaged in learning, while developing and utilizing social skills. Building on their own prior knowledge, and the prior knowledge of others in their group, students are able to constructively problem solve.
