Whole Brain TeachingWhole brain teaching is a teaching strategy that encourages active learning. It involves reaching both the left and right hemisphere of a student's brain.By presenting students with problems that tap both the creative side of the brain as well as the logical side of the brain, the student becomes more involved in learning. Any mistakes made by students become learning experiences as they are encouraged to correct them independently. The teacher should provide appropriate resources for students to problem solve successfully during Whole Brain teaching. |
