Do you know… 96% of our senior class graduated in 2004!

 

Do you know… We have had Intel Talent Search semi-finalists for the past three years.

 

Do you know…145 of our students took AP Exams

 

Do you know…15 of our students were name AP Scholars (3+ on 3 exams or more) in 2004.  15 students were named AP Scholars with Honor (3.25 + on 4 or more exams).  9 students were named AP Scholars with distinction (3.5 or more on 5 or more exams).  2 students were named National AP Scholar (4+ on 8 or more exams). 

 

Do you know…11 students were invited to participate in the 2005 National Merit Program

 

Do you know…Sleepy Hollow students were awarded in excess of $200,000 in scholarships as well as special awards for outstanding performance, citizenship and leadership.  The list of awards include the National CIBA Corporation Science Award, George Washington University Science Award, Jandon Foundation Scholarship (SHHS had 3 Jandon winners in 2004 of $10,000 each), Toyota Community Scholars, Bayer Foundation Scholarship, Tsueno Tanaka Scholarship, Hitachi America, Ltd., etc.

 

Do you know…we had 1 Marymount College of Fordham University International Award Scholarship in the amount of $15,000 per year.

 

Do you know…we have had acceptances to Harvard, Dartmouth, Fordham, Bard, Georgetown, Cornell, New York University, University of Delaware, Vassar, Binghamton, Skidmore, Smith, Lafayette, Fairfield, Colgate, Brandeis, Carnegie Mellon, Oberlin, Quinnipiac, Pratt, Providence, Barnard, Barry, University of Vermont, Syracuse, Siena, SUNY New Paltz, SUNY Cortland, SUNY Albany
