  • Senior Mike Anniccherico who will be joining the St. Thomas Aquinas College Sprint Football team

    College Bound Athlete

    Congratulations to senior Mike Anniccherico who will be joining the St. Thomas Aquinas College Sprint Football team for their 2019 season.
    Mike played offensive and defensive line for two seasons on the Sleepy Hollow Boys’ Varsity Football team in 2017-2018. “Mike has a fantastic work ethic and drive to be successful,” said coach Jorge Veintimilla. “While on the team, he demonstrated great qualities of leadership by pushing teammates to compete at their highest level.” Mike earned All-League as a senior.
    He signed his commitment papers on May 13 surrounded by his coaches, family and friends.

    Girls Lacrosse Day

    Congratulations to the Sleepy Hollow Girls Lacrosse team who is heading to the playoffs May 15, at home facing Eastchester.
    The girls hope to continue their winning streak from Lacrosse Day on May 4, where they had a 22-5 win over Hastings. Taylor Burnett scored her 100th goal and Hannah Lustyik made her 500th save.

    Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse

    It was a tough loss Ma4 4, for the Sleepy Hollow Boys Varsity Lacrosse team against Hastings. Despite a team effort and from goalie Liam Hanson, the Horsemen fell behind 4-12.

  • Perfect Placement

    Perfect Placement

    Sleepy Hollow Middle and High School student-athletes received important information about their athletic futures on May 2, meeting with a Major League Baseball agent from Perfect Placement.

    Mark Leinweaver educated parents, students, and coaches about the best approach to choosing a college and the recruitment process. Leinweaver explained the families need a simple, realistic and logical plan.
