Food Service

Currently, the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns partners with Whitson’s to provide food services for our students and staff.  The district participates in the National School Lunch program.

Current meal prices:

Breakfast $1.50

Elementary Lunch $2.00

MS/HS Lunch $2.50

Applications for Free Lunch and Reduced Lunch ($.25) may be submitted at any time during the year.  Renewal applications must be done annually and received by October 18th to ensure no disruption or billings occur.  Only a qualified meal counts towards the Free & Reduced Breakfast/Lunch program.

The District uses My School Bucks to allow parents/guardians to create a lunch account for their student and add funds periodically to these accounts. There is a small processing fee associated with this.  Alternatively, students may pay in cash or have a check applied to his/her account. Parents may also use My School Bucks to view purchases made by your child.

Meal Distribution

FREE Breakfast and Lunch for the 2020-2021 school year for ALL Students have been EXTENDED!

The NYSED and the USDA have extended the nationwide waiver to all Tarrytown District Students for FREE breakfast and lunch throughout the entire 2020-2021 school year.

Please Note: Parents will still need to submit an annual Meal application for Free/Reduced lunch.  Once the temporary waiver for free meals expires students will default back to their previous meal price. Applications can be found on the TUFSD.org website.

Second lunches and a la carte items are not included in this free meal program and will be charged as they previously were.

Desayuno y almuerzo GRATIS para 2020 - 2021 año escolar para TODOS los estudiantes han sido extendidos!

El NYSED y el USDA han extendido la exención nacional a todos los estudiante del distrito escolar de Tarrytown para el desayuno y el almuerzo GRATIS durante todo el 2020-2021 año escolar.

Nota Importante: Los padres todavia tendrán que llenar una solicitud anual de comidas para el almuerzo gratuito/reducido.
