    Get outside if you smell smoke or see fire. Never hide, but go to the window to get the attention of the firefighters if you are trapped. And only call 911 in an emergency. These are the core messages that first and second graders at WL Morse learned from the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department last week as part of Fire Safety Month.

    Communication Board at Washington Irving

    Speech Pathologists Maria Murolo and Maria Leon Luciano helped to develop a Communication Board at Washington Irving Elementary School to facilitate communication among students of different backgrounds and abilities.  Many thanks to The Foundation for the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns for making this board a reality!  Watch the video to learn more
