Sleepy Hollow Middle School Food Drive

On Monday, January 7, students attended a school wide assembly where members of Feeding Westchester kicked off our annual food drive.

Feeding Westchester’s mission is to end hunger in Westchester County. As the heart of a network of more than 300 partners, they source and distribute food, and other resources, to towns across Westchester helping to ensure that none of our neighbors are hungry.

Donations of food provide community members with much-needed essentials like peanut butter and canned tuna that would otherwise be unavailable. And this is where SHMS comes in!

We will be running our drive from January 8- February 28

Please have your child bring items to their homeroom teacher.

There will be a competition to see which homeroom donates the most and prizes will be awarded.
