Ever wonder what it’s like to take a trip down the Nile River, or explore the inside of the tomb of a Pharaoh? Well, students in Mrs. Mullin’s social studies class got to experience all this and more - with the help of virtual reality glasses! Through a nearpod virtual reality experience, students were able to get up close and personal to the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Sphinx and the Nile River. They were also able to explore the inside of the tomb of Ramses VI to see the elaborately decorated walls filled with hieroglyphics. Students left class with a sense of wonder and the hope that they would be able to take another virtual reality trip soon.
