Varsity at Slam Dunk Tournament, December 27th

On Tuesday, December 27th the varsity boys’ basketball team played in the Slam Dunk tournament at the County Center.  The Horsemen trailed by as many as 18 early in the game but fought back in the second half coming up a little short in a Slam Dunk Challenge Game. Jack Starkey led the way for the Horsemen scoring a game-high 15 points.  Andrew Laub added 12 points and 14 rebounds.  The final score was Somers 47 and Sleepy Hollow 41.  The Horsemen travel to Alexander Hamilton on Wednesday, January 4th before starting league play on Friday, January 6th versus Hendrick Hudson.
