Acts of Kindness are Ageless

On April 24, the second graders in Ms. Fradkin’s and Mrs. Perez’s class visited some residents at Kendal on Hudson, a senior living community in Sleepy Hollow.  The children read poetry, sang songs, and asked questions to the residents.  In the classroom, we read books, and wrote a friendly letter upon our return. The students shared their feelings and observations and made a variety of important connections to the event. This authentic experience proved that kindness and friendship truly are ageless!!
