Sleepy Hollow High School faculty, staff and administrators put away their razors this November to support the American Cancer Society.
No Shave November raises much needed funds for cancer research and awareness of those battling the disease. Many cancer patients lose their hair during treatment. Participants in No Shave November donate the money they save from shaving products to cause.
November, also brings with it Movember – the global movement to raise awareness of prostate cancer, testicular cancer mental health. Growing a mustache can start the conversation of men’s health issues.
SHHS hopes to surpass last year’s donations of $2,500.
