American Indian Tribes of the American West

In Ms. Doran and Mrs. Lynch's 7th grade social studies classes, with the help of their student teacher, Mr. England, students took a closer look at the American Indian Tribes of the West. With the help of the Library Media Specialist, Mrs. Mullin, to find research and Ms. O'Brien, for the latest technology, the students studied one of the tribes that Lewis and Clark encountered on their journey West. They studied the Tribe's culture, what happened to the Tribe as America expanded westward, and the Tribe today. The project culminated with a presentation to their classmates. Here are just a few of the projects the students created.
