Italian Students Receive Accolades at Regional Ceremony
On October 17, 2022, three of our students from the Italian Program were honored at a regional event celebrating excellence in the study of the Italian language. This event was sponsored by the Italian Heritage & Culture Committee of New York and the Westchester Coalition of Italian American Organizations, and recognized Outstanding Students and Teachers of the Italian Language in all of Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties.
Three Tarrytown students were recognized for their outstanding achievements in the Italian program: 8th Grader Ruby Wild-Arons was recognized for outstanding performance in Italian (middle school), 11th grader Nola Vercesi was recognized for outstanding performance in Italian (underclassman), and 12th grader Racheuri Ferreras was recognized for outstanding performance in Italian (upperclassman), being awarded the Ace Endico Scholarship as a top-performing student in the region! We are so proud of our students for their hard work and achievements!
