SHMS and SHHS Orchestra Students Attend Sitkovetsky Trio Performance at the DR Center

Sleepy Hollow Middle School and Sleepy Hollow High School orchestral members were treated to an intimate performance by the world-class chamber music group The Sitkovetsky Trio at the David Rockefeller Creative Arts Center over the Winter Recess. 

After the performance, the students attended a reception at which they met members of the trio and were able to ask questions and learn about their professional experience. The trio performed a preview of a  piece composed by Julia Adolphe, who was also in attendance, that premiered at Lincoln Center the following evening. The DR Center generously transported some of the students and their families to and from the special performance that evening.
