Kindergarten Students Get Creative to Catch a Leprechaun

Do you know how to catch a leprechaun? Some of our kindergarten students are on their trail!

They started this adventure earlier this week by completing a writing unit and setting a plan. Then today, they engaged in a STEM activity, putting their creativity and problem-solving skills to work, using a variety of supplies like popsicle sticks, cardboard, pipe cleaners, glue, etc. to build leprechaun traps. While the students did find the end of the rainbow and even some gold coins, those magical leprechauns are quite crafty and managed to get away.
