High School and Middle School Students Leave Their Mark on Character Education

This summer, the Washington Irving Character Education and Diversity Team led by school psychologist Diana Longobucco arranged to have 3 students from the High School and Middle School paint 3 murals in the building expressing messages of good character. Pictured below are Illeana Knight: Grade 11 Sleepy Hollow High School, Taylor Jane Knight: Class of 2018 Sleepy Hollow HS, and Julianne Arduino: Grade 8 Sleepy Hollow MS. These 3 students gave up an entire week of their summer to volunteer their time and provide Washington Irving with some fantastic artwork that provides a positive message.
