SHHS Students Exhibit Art Work In Regional Exhibitions
Nine Sleepy Hollow High School students are exhibiting their artwork outside of the walls of "The Hollow '' during the month of May and June. On the weekend of May 21st and 22nd, Sleepy students will join other Westchester and Rockland high school students in an exhibition of their work at the GARNER Arts Festival in Garnerville, NY Now in its 16th year, the festival is sponsored by ReStart the Arts, a regrant program of ArtsWestchester with support from the Office of the Governor, the New York State Legislature and the New York State Council on the Arts. The students who are exhibiting are Brenna Bloom, Emily Buzaid, Frankie Clark, Jenna Fox, Christine Kern, Ania Mentis, Niko Orellana, Sophie Taylor and Luz Ticona Pera.
We are proud to announce that Luz Ticona Pera is our student award winner in the annual RiverArts student competition. RiverArts was envisioned and established by visual artists over 50 years ago to find new ways to bring art to our Hudson River communities. Luz's work will be featured in an exhibit at the Hastings Village Hall Gallery from May 16-June12.
