Fall 2022 Rose Ceremony - MOVED TO 10/11

The TUFSD Rose Ceremony is a time-honored tradition for both Morse first grade students and Sleepy Hollow Seniors. In the fall, the Sleepy Hollow Seniors host the ceremony, in which they formally welcome the first graders as they begin their educational journeys by presenting them with a rose. In the spring ceremony, first graders say good luck and farewell to our seniors by presenting the seniors with a rose in return.

We are hosting this year’s ceremony outside on the Sleepy Hollow High School Football Field.  If there is rain or inclement weather that day, the event will be held in the High School Auditorium and will have a limited capacity, so only two adults per student will be able to attend. The ceremony will be live streamed for families to watch from home or to watch the recorded version at another time for those who cannot attend the live ceremony.  Please use this link if you wish to watch the live stream:

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to either Mr. Walley at twalley@tufsd.org or Ms. Brand at dbrand@tufsd.org.
